Augustana Campus Ministries invites graduating seniors to join in “A Spirited Conversation” to celebrate their time at Augustana. 

We will gather for conversation, pizza and a variety of drinks from 5-7 p.m.

Zohra Sarwari is the author of 14 books and three homeschooling curriculums, as well as an international speaker, entrepreneur, publisher and mother to three children. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology, an MBA and she currently is pursuing

Augustana to host speaker for talks about Islam

Augustana College will host internationally renowned author and speaker Zohra Sarwari for two events on April 19 and 20. She will present “No, I am Not a Terrorist” on Wednesday, April 19 at 7 p.m., and “Are Muslim Women Oppressed” on Thursday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m. Both events, which are free and open to the public, will take place in Wallenberg Hall.

Super Bowl Sunday Mass

Super Bowl Sunday Mass will begin at 1 p.m. in the Gerber Center, G?vle Room.

(This is a change from the usual 5 p.m. Mass in Ascension Chapel.)

 

 

Wednesday worship (indoors)

Wednesday evening worship will not be held outdoors tonight, due to the weather.

Augie Reflections: Jenn Darby '18

Jenn Darby '18 will speak at the weekly Augie Reflections. Her topic is "Trusting the Plan."

This brief service offers thoughts from a campus speaker, music, scripture reading, and quiet.

Wednesday evening chapel, chocolate and sweaters

Wednesday evening chapel is a contemplative candlelit service that offers scripture, song, prayer, silence, and Holy Communion.

After worship, we will gather for a hot chocolate bar. "Festive" sweaters are highly encouraged.

Sunday Worship

The weekly Sunday worship service includes vocal and instrument music, and is ecumenical within a Lutheran perspective. 

Juice, doughnuts and coffee are available before and after the service.
