Six jobs is not too much if you love them
Augustana music instructor Sheila Doak has six part-time jobs, all of which involve playing a keyboard instrument. She plays at three local churches, accompanies the choirs at Augustana and St. Ambrose University, and also gives private lessons.
“This is the thing about my life right now: I really don’t want to change it,” Doak said. “Each one of these jobs requires a different skill – a different piece of me that I love to do.”
