Burrier '12 coaching soccer at Elk Grove
Former Augustana soccer player Dean Burrier '12 will coach girls' soccer this year at Elk Grove High School in the Chicago area.
Burrier, the school’s Spanish teacher, has been an assistant for the boys team for the last four years. He majored in Latin American Studies and Teaching Spanish at Augustana, and received a master's in Teaching Spanish from the University of Illinois.
He taught at Davenport Community Schools in Iowa and also coached soccer there before working at Elk Grove.
