Public Health Prospective Majors Event

Students are invited to attend an event for prospective public health majors and minors. Faculty and current public health students will be available to answer student-centered questions and share their experiences both in and out of the classroom.

Students will also be given the opportunity to declare a major or minor in Public Health.

National Public Health Week Events

April 3 - 6  11a.m. - 1p.m. The Brew
Public Health Week tables in the Brew: Stop by and chat with PUBH majors and ACHOO student members about health outreach in the Augustana and Quad Cities communities.

April 3  4p.m. - 5:30p.m. Evald Great Hall
Public Health Major Declaration: All current and interested PUBH majors and minors are invited to get to know each other, learn about courses and internship opportunities, and enjoy some tasty treats. Current Seniors will be available to answer student-centered questions and share their PUBH experiences.

April 4  8a.m. - 4p.m. Waterfront Convention Center, Bettendorf
Quad Cities Disaster Readiness Conference: Speakers from across the country will address disaster preparedness and response, including active shooter response at Columbine High School, the opioid epidemic, and more. Registration includes lunch and snacks.
